Teufelberger TreeMotion ESSENTIAL Climbing Harness

Teufelberger has been making continuous improvements to its treeMOTION harnesses since 2007. Over the years, the company has listened to tree climbers, partners, and ambassadors with the sole aim of creating the perfect harness that is suitable for all climbing techniques and climber anatomy. As a result, we are pleased to produce the fourth generation of the original treeMOTIONs in Europe. This harness is incredibly light because to the thinner material and lighter adjustable buckles.

The treeMOTION Essential is now prepared with these key new features following more than two years of development:

• ten years of age (since the date of manufacture)
• 3 sizes (Small, Medium, Large)
• Buckle for waist adjustment two ways
• a better fit for every shape
• Twin bridges may be used.
• Hip/leg connections can be easily replaced thanks to an openable side ring.
• Suspender/chest has four points of attachment.

With treeMOTION Essential and Pro, the following key differences exist:

• Buckles
• Beginning climbers can use the treeMOTION Essential, which has sliding adjustable buckles, while more experienced climbers can use the treeMOTION Pro, which has Cobra quick release buckles.
• Leg and back cushioning
• Standard cushioning is present in the treeMOTION Essential, while comfort padding is present in the treeMOTION Pro. The two paddings can be switched out.
• gear supports
• The treeMOTION Pro has 2x3 gear brackets in addition to 2x1 gear brackets below the harness, whereas the treeMOTION Essential has 2x2 gear brackets.
• A red elastic band to secure the objects
• The treeMOTION Pro comes with red elastic on the waist and leg loops, whereas the treeMOTION Essential is shipped without it.

Since its inception, the treeMOTION series has been a success. Climbers did, however, occasionally express their opinion that it could be made even better. We at Teufelberger therefore set out to improve the treeMOTION and thereby make it even more user-friendly.

We placed a lot of emphasis on one factor in particular: As every person is unique, the harness must likewise be uniquely customizable.

As a result, our harness is currently offered in three different sizes:

• Small
• Medium
• Large

The treeMOTION Essential has the lowest TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) in the treecare industry thanks to its 10-year lifespan and the flexibility to replace up to 10 components of your harness.

At TEUFELBERGER, safety comes first, so the treeMOTION necessary has been approved in accordance with the following criteria:

• ANSI Z133-2017 for arboricultural operations,
• EN813:2008, EN358:2018,
• ASTM F887-20, CSA Z259.1-05, and AS/NZS 1891.1:2020

With a 10-year lifespan after production, the treeMOTION has established itself as a durable and trustworthy partner. The treeMOTION Essential was created so that you can swap out up to 10 elements, thus enhancing the belt's durability:
